For erectile dysfunction, it increases blood flow to the penis when aroused. This makes it easier to get and keep an erection. For pulmonary arterial hypertension, tadalafil relaxes the blood vessels in the lungs. This lowers blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart. For benign prostatic hyperplasia, tadalafil relaxes the muscles of the bladder and prostate, making it easier to urinate and reducing symptoms.
Tadalafil should be stored at room temperature, between 68 F to 77 F (20 C to 25 C). It can be exposed to temperatures between 59 F to 86 F (15 C to 30 C) for shorter periods of time, such as when transporting it. The most common side effects of tadalafil are listed below. Do not share tadalafil with other people, even if they have the same condition as you. Keep tadalafil out of the reach of children. Sexual activity can put extra strain on your heart, which may be unsafe for people with certain health problems, such as a recent heart attack. Tadalafil is a medicine that is commonly used for the following conditions. Erectile dysfunction, a condition where you have trouble getting or keeping an erection Pulmonary arterial hypertension, a condition where you have high blood pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from your heart to your lungs Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition where the prostate gland has become enlarged Tadalafil may also be used for other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider.
